About Dumpster Gang HQ

An independent, fan-made reference for Dumpster Gang, a game that does not come out until December 2026.

Why it exists

The game was announced over two days in August 2026 — a developer post on Steam on the 26th, the Gamescom reveal on the 27th — and immediately produced more questions than answers. The most common one, by a wide margin, is whether it is on Xbox — and the true answer needs a sentence, because it is coming to Xbox on PC and nobody has said a word about the consoles. A store page cannot make that distinction. It can only list what it sells.

So this site does the thing storefronts structurally cannot: it keeps a running record of what has been announced, and an equally explicit record of what has not.

The rule this site runs on

Every factual claim traces to a first-party or storefront record, listed on the sources page. Where no record answers a question, the page says so instead of estimating.

That rule costs pages. There is no tier list here, no codes page, no predicted release date and no strategy guide, because nobody outside the studio has published a hands-on account of playing it, and inventing that content would put wrong information into search results that outlives the game’s launch.

What is here instead

A platform table with a status and a source for every platform, including the ones with nothing announced.
A release page that quotes all five sources side by side rather than guessing a date.
System pages that separate what the developers showed from what they explained, each ending with the specific things still unanswered.
A timeline of the complete public record, which is currently two entries long and will not be padded to look longer.

This site has no affiliation with Coyote House Games, Curve Games, Valve or Microsoft, and no access to anyone at any of them. Trademarks and artwork belong to their owners. Nothing here is an official announcement, and the site takes care never to look like one.
