Is Dumpster Gang coming to Nintendo Switch 2?

Not announcedNintendo Switch 2

Not announced. There is no Switch 2 version, and Dumpster Gang does not appear in Nintendo's eShop catalogue at all.

Why that is the answer

Everything shown so far has been PC. The Steam record lists Windows as the only operating system, the reveal named Xbox on PC and PC Game Pass, and a search of Nintendo's own eShop catalogue returns no Dumpster Gang listing. What makes this question worth asking anyway is the publisher: Curve Digital has 40 titles on Nintendo's store and has already shipped two dedicated Switch 2 editions.

Taking the question literally first: no. Nintendo's eShop search returns no Dumpster Gang listing on any Nintendo hardware, the Steam record lists Windows as the sole operating system, and neither Coyote House Games nor Curve Games has used the word Nintendo in any announcement. If you are deciding what to play this on in December 2026, the answer is a Windows PC.

The reason people keep asking is the publisher's track record, and it is a genuinely strong one. Curve Digital has 40 titles in Nintendo's eShop catalogue going back to 2015, and it is not treating Switch 2 as an afterthought: Human Fall Flat got a dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 Edition in March 2026, and Wobbly Life got one on 20 August 2026 — six days before Dumpster Gang was announced. Those are the publisher's two biggest physics co-op games, the exact category Dumpster Gang belongs to.

The developer has also addressed platforms directly, if not Nintendo by name. Asked in the Steam forum about crossplay with console friends, they replied that the team is fully focused on PC development for now and will share news about other platforms if and when they have it. Read plainly: consoles are a post-launch question for a two-person studio shipping in December, not something being withheld.

So the honest framing is this. A publisher that ships Switch 2 editions of its flagship co-op titles is obviously invested in the platform, and that makes a later Switch 2 port plausible in a way it would not be for a PC-only studio. But plausible is not announced. Treat any site giving you a Switch 2 release date for Dumpster Gang as making it up.

What Curve Digital has actually shipped to Nintendo

Read from Nintendo’s own eShop catalogue rather than from anybody’s summary. The publisher has 40 titles on the store, and these are the two that matter for this question — both are dedicated Switch 2 editions of its flagship physics co-op games, the same category Dumpster Gang is in.
