The hideout in Dumpster Gang

Seen in footageNot explained

The hideout is the hub you return to after a mission. It is where the junk you stole becomes decoration: you decorate the place with what you hauled home, and customise your raccoon there.

What the developers said

The store description says you return home after every mission to customise your raccoon, unlock hats with unique abilities, and decorate your hideout with every ridiculous item you have stolen. The official site adds a campfire scene as the between-heist social beat.

What the footage shows

Yes, and it is more specific than the description suggests. It is an outdoor camp at night built around a lit campfire, with four raccoons resting around it and stolen goods lying everywhere — a football, a stereo, bottles, a watering can, a plunger, a framed picture. A corkboard pinned with photographs and notes joined by red string stands to one side, with a photograph of a bearded man in orange near its centre.

Read from frames of the official reveal trailer, the only footage that exists.

Not announced yet

  • What the corkboard of photographs and red string is for — no official text mentions it
  • Whether the man in orange on that board is the Exterminator
  • Whether the hideout is shared by the whole gang or personal to each player
  • Whether decorating has any gameplay effect or is purely expression
  • How much of a mission's loot you keep, and whether loot is scored or counted at all

This page will grow the moment any of that is answered. It is deliberately not padded with strategy: writing tips for a system nobody has explained is how pre-release fan pages end up teaching rules the finished game never had.
